22 Minute Load Time
Good day Carriers,
You may have heard Management mention in the past that you only have 22 minutes to load your truck. Or they might have mentioned you have 30 minutes.
This is not entirely true.
Although you should not waste time loading your truck, there is no standard for how much time it takes you to load your truck. Every route, Carrier, and day is different. It takes you however much time it takes you to load the truck.
In addition, the NALC Union has never agreed that 22/30 minutes is a standard that carriers must abide by.
The confusion comes from a document associated with the TIAREAP program where it states that if a Carrier takes more than 22 minutes to load their truck then further review may be warranted.
This above is not saying the truck MUST be loaded in 22 minutes ot the Carrier may be subject to discipline.
