Union Meeting 9/21/2023
Good day Carriers,
The Union meeting on Thursday night, 9/21, at the Bayshore Knights of Columbus at 7:30pm, was quite interesting.
It will take me a few posts to cover all of it.
However, the most important information you will need to know is that after four retirements on the executive board and from trustees, there were many changes.
First of all, Walter Barton is one of the retirees.
This Meeting included nominations for a new slate of board members and their positions.
For each position there was one nominee, so no election will be needed.
Here are the new positions:
President – Rich McLehose
1st VP – Tom Siesto
Recording Secretary – Joe Morelli
Financial Secretary – Sean Killean
Treasurer – Bill Rotundo
OWCP – Gary DeGrijze
Area Rep – Patti McDermott
Director of City Delivery/Safety – Mike Spadofina
MBA, HPR, NSBR – Jim Tuttle
Editor – Jim Jongebloed
Sgt. Of Arms/Trustee #1 – Ryan Curry
Trustee #2 – Mike Castellano
Trustee #3 – Rich Hip
Trustee #4 – Jackie LaRosa
Trustee #5 – Justin Puglisi
This newly elected board will take over their positions on January 1, 2024.
